Cells

Unfortunately, my family has been inundated with cancer. Because of this, I find myself playing around with the depiction of cells and genes in my work. Cells are the basis of life. They live, die, and replicate many times in both regular and irregular forms. They determine the direction life takes. In our family, the havoc created by irregular cell mutation has impacted the paths of many lives. The circular patterns in “Outrageous Cells” became unruly and irregular. As much as we try to control the direction, the “cells” always have their way.
